1. The service. Sortia is a Google Sheets add-on providing statistical analysis, optimization, simulation, and forecasting tools. It runs entirely within Google Sheets; see the Privacy Policy.
2. License. You may use the add-on on any spreadsheet you have access to. Paid tiers, if offered, are licensed per user as described at purchase. You may not resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the add-on as your own.
3. No professional advice. The add-on performs calculations; it does not provide financial, statistical, medical, or legal advice. Analytical results depend on your inputs, model assumptions, and tool settings — validate them before making decisions with real-world consequences.
4. Warranty disclaimer. THE ADD-ON IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. While the computational engines are extensively tested, no software is guaranteed error-free.
5. Limitation of liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AUTHOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM USE OF THE ADD-ON. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the add-on in the twelve months preceding the claim.
6. Acceptable use. Don't use the add-on to violate law, Google's Terms of Service, or the Google Workspace Marketplace program policies.
7. Changes. These terms may be updated; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted in the listing.
