Every number in a plan should come with its odds.
Spreadsheets run budgets, forecasts, bids and schedules, and every one of them reports a number as if it were certain. We are building the layer that says how likely each number is, which guess it rests on, and lets anyone check the answer.
Generate
You, a template or an AI assistant builds the workbook. Sortia does not need to be the one that writes it.
Compute uncertainty
Estimates become ranges, and the model runs thousands of times on a fixed seed.
Verify
Re-run to the digit, see what drove the answer, and keep a receipt.
Share
Publish the answer and its receipt as a read-only link, never the workbook.
The road, with its real status.
Receipts on every simulation run. Seed, engine version, the model and the result hash, with Verify.
Shared result links. Read-only, with an expiry date and revoke from Settings.
Model files. Save the model, its question and its receipt as a .sortia file, then open it here or check it here.
Describe your decision. Four plain questions to a checked model, in this sheet only.
Calibration record. Enter what happened, and see how good your guesses were.
Your links and license on sortia.io. Sign in with Google to see them; nothing from your sheets.
Checked math for agents. The same deterministic engine as a package and an MCP server, for an AI assistant that needs a number it can stand behind.
Shared standards. Verification policies, shared libraries and controls for a team.
Know how good your guesses are.
Later, not started: an idea, shown with example values. Every run would keep its estimates, and when the real number lands the record would grow: which of your 80-in-100 calls came true, and which inputs you are always optimistic about.
YOUR CALIBRATION RECORDPREVIEW · EXAMPLE VALUES
| Launch date, Mar 24 at 80 in 100 | said Mar 24 | landed Mar 22 | came true |
| Q3 revenue, $4.1M at 80 in 100 | said at least $4.1M | landed $3.8M | missed |
| Bid cost, $1.9M at 90 in 100 | said at most $1.9M | landed $1.84M | came true |
| Your 80-in-100 calls | 10 made | 8 came true | 8 of 10 |
What does not change.
Deterministic
Same estimates, same seed and the same engine build give the same answer, on any machine.
Private
Two permissions, no Drive access. Your values stay in the sheet.
Plain
N in 100, the driver, and the figure to commit to, in words.
Checkable
Every simulation run ships with a receipt anyone can re-run.
Help define the verification standard.
We are looking for design partners: teams who make consequential decisions in spreadsheets and want the odds, and the proof, before anyone else does.
